FAQs

Questions people ask us

If your question isn't here, just call. We're happy to explain anything before you decide.

Is it safe to let you connect to my computer?

Yes. We use TeamViewer, the same secure remote software used by large companies and IT departments. You watch everything we do on your screen, you stay in control, and you can end the session at any time. When we finish, our access is gone.

How long does it take?

Most jobs take one to two hours depending on how bad the infection is and how fast the computer is. We can usually start the same day you call.

Do you work on both Windows and Mac?

Yes, we handle Windows PCs and Apple Macs, laptops and desktops, any brand.

What if you can’t fix it?

Then you don’t pay. We’ll tell you honestly on the phone if we think we can help before we start, and if we can’t clear the problem there’s no charge.

How much does it cost?

Virus removal is $300. Removal plus a full clean-up and speed tune is $350. That’s the price you’re quoted up front, with no extra charge for weekends or public holidays.

I think I’ve been scammed. Can you help?

Yes, this is one of the most common calls we get. If someone claiming to be from Microsoft, the NBN, Telstra or your bank talked you into giving them access, call us. We’ll check the computer, remove anything they left behind and help you make your accounts safe again.

Do I need to buy any software?

No. We bring the tools we need for the session. If we recommend anything to keep you protected afterwards we’ll explain your options, but there’s nothing you have to buy to get the job done.

Are you actually in Australia?

Yes. You’ll speak to Robert, an Australian technician based in Australia. No call centre and no overseas transfer.

Think your computer is infected?

Call now and speak to a real technician in Australia. We can usually start the same day.
